102.5

Alexis Jayne Savery will graduate from Taconic High School tomorrow as the valedictorian of her class with a 102.5 GPA. Yes, that is correct: 102.5. She surpassed the second place finisher (the salutatorian) by what seems, at that heady level, to be a sizable gap, a whopping 1.3 points.

She received the Superintendents’ Award for Academic Excellence, nailed the Math MCAS (perfect score), received the Williams Book Award and was named an AP Scholar with Honors for her outstanding scores on her AP exams. When she is not hitting the books, she captains the varsity tennis team, volunteers as a tutor for St. Marks’ Middle School students and is fluent in French. She will attend Williams College in the fall…Go Ephs!

On the weekends and all summer long, Alexis delivers your food and busses your tables at Haven. She does so with grace, strength and efficiency. She brings calm to the cafe…what a gift. We are thrilled that she is part of our team.
